This is a short note to explain my new A4 'sample' sketchbook: As I am quite methodical in how I work, and experimentation is a huge part of the module Personal Practice and Methodologies, I have decided to start a separate sketchbook containing small samples and experiments, which are intended to help me push my practice by understanding the materials and processes I am using better. I am going to aim to do 5 samples a day five days a week as my practice progresses, I can apply the more successful experiments to topical work in my main sketchbook.
