I have noticed from conducting experiments in my sample book exploring application of paint and brush strokes, that the two paint brushes I use the most are the brushes that allow me the most control over my media. Now that I have found this correlation, I intend to use other brushes more often to ensure that I have less control; this may help me to make more expressive marks.
